Viridium supports MAPP to achieve EPC A on retail project

Viridium's long-standing collaboration with MAPP has once again delivered positive results, this time for their client, Custodian Property Income REIT on the refurbishment of a large retail unit in Southport.

Involved from the outset, Viridium advised on energy performance measures to be incorporated within the programme of works, ensuring the property achieved an EPC rating of A – significantly exceeding both current and anticipated future compliance standards.

The incoming tenants now benefit from a highly energy-efficient premises, reducing both energy costs and carbon emissions. At the same time, Custodian Property Income REIT holds a demonstrably sustainable asset that is futureproofed for years to come.
